R&D Design became involved with Pier Lofts after initial planning board approvals. The original building plan was approved with 65 residential apartments.
With innovative application of our extensive code knowledge, R & D Design Group was able to successfully managed the reconfiguration of Pier Lofts. The new layout provided our client with six additional apartments (71 apartments), as well as making all apartments larger than originally specified on initial approvals. Also, it was created an additional 5,000 Sq Ft of Residential Space and 1,600 Sq Ft of Commercial Space to maximize the allowable FAR.
